Small Groups

Small groups are a part of the DNA of MLCC.

Small groups provide an environment where people can:

• build caring relationships with one another,
• find support and encouragement through challenging times,
• grow together in their spiritual journey, and
• deepen their relationship with Jesus.

There are a variety of small groups people can participate in. There are mixed groups, men's and women's groups. Most groups meet in the evening. There is one morning women's group.

Serving

There are many opportunities to serve in Mawson Lakes Community Church, and offers of service are always appreciated.

For those with gifts in the hospitality area, welcoming, ushering and serving tea and coffee may suit. If you are musically inclined there is a weekly band made up of Church members. There are also a number of areas of service available for those with financial and administrative gifts.

Courses

We've been to courses together and occasionally hold our own! (Alpha – a foundational course on Christianity, and Network – a course on discovering and using our spiritual gifts).
